Review @laurendane - Wolf Unbound by Lauren Dane (Cascadia Wolves #3)

Wolf Unbound
Cascadia Wolves #3
by Lauren Dane

Goodreads blurb:  Previously published with a different publisher

The Cascadia Wolves will do anything to protect their own. Tegan Warden knows that better than anyone. The Pack closed ranks around her years ago when her mate died, and much as she appreciates their support, it's time to move on. That means dating—and for Tegan, it also means finding someone who understands her needs in the bedroom.

Finding Ben.

The dominant human may not be a wolf, but he makes Tegan shiver from their first encounter. He knows what she needs and doesn't hesitate to give it to her. What's more, they share a bond beyond sex. It's been years since any man has made her feel so alive, so beautiful and desired.

But there's an enemy working against the Cascadia Wolves, an enemy gathering forces to strike. The looming war is a threat to wolves and humans alike, and if they can't stop it, the love that Tegan and Ben have worked so hard to find may not be enough to protect them from what's coming.

About the Author:  Lauren Dane has been writing stories since she was able to use a pencil, and before that she used to tell them to people. Of course, she still talks nonstop, and through wonderful fate and good fortune, she’s now able to share what she writes with others. It’s a wonderful life!

The basics: Lauren is a mom, a partner, a best friend and a daughter. Living in the rainy but beautiful Pacific Northwest, she spends her late evenings writing like a fiend when she finally wrestles all of her kids to bed.

Connect with Lauren:

My Thoughts - 4 out of 5 Unicorns - I really liked it!!!

***I choose what I read and review based on what intrigues me!!

New cover matches the style of the rest of the series!

This is the third book in the series, and it is for adults only due to the steamy content and violence.  This book does involve dominant/submissive acts just in case this has an effect of your enjoyment of reading the book.

I did not connect as well with Tegan and Ben though I’m not sure why.  It is a great book with plenty of action.  I like that Tegan is strong, and she has come back from losing a mate.  I have liked Ben in previous books, but in this one, he had several moments where he was just a jerk.  It rubbed me the wrong way.  He did things to redeem himself at times, but it wasn’t enough for me.

I loved Lauren’s writing!  She always has plenty of action, drama, and intrigue to keep you engaged!  I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next!

I recommend this book to shifter fans who enjoy subspace in their reading!
