Audiobook Review - Deidre's Secret by Terry Spear @TerrySpear

Deidre’s Secret
by Terry Spear
aka Terry Lee Wilde

Goodreads blurb:  When Deidre Roux has premonitions of danger, watch out! Faced with thwarting bank robbers and protecting others from the high school bully, she must reveal her secret to her new friend, Mark Cummings. Can she convince him that she truly sees a world of imminent danger headed their way before it's too late? Not only must Mark deal with Deidre's premonitions, which he has a hard time believing, but his convicted uncle has returned home.

Humor, suspense, and conflict rule the day as Deidre's crazy aunt tries to do a true crime story on Mark's uncle. Deidre attempts to keep her aunt out of it before she gets mixed up in the much darker business of robberies and murder-her own, if she's not careful.

About the Author:  Love, love, love romance, the paranormal, hunky Highlanders with their delicious brogue and hot kilts, so Terry Spear writes about those hunky Highlanders both in medieval times and as wolves in contemporary times. Jaguar shifters too! And young adult urban fantasy. And romantic suspense.

She grew up reading mystery, adventure, mythologies from around the world, ghost stories, the paranormal, fell in love with Dracula and Wolfman, and felt they needed loving too. Everyone should have someone to love. Which means her stories always have a HEA.

USA Today Bestseller residing in Central Texas from Sacramento, California who creates award-winning teddy bears too!

My Thoughts - 5 out of 5 Unicorns - I loved it!!!

The cover is cute and reminds you of teen love.

I listened to this right after another book narrated by Maria.  It was nice because I was used to her as a narrator, and I really like her now that I’ve listened to a couple books narrated by her.  I listened to this book without my son because he wanted more fantasy and less real, but I absolutely that it was awesome.

I really loved this story!!  This is the young version of Deidre Roux which I thought was awesome because I listened to a book about the adult Deidre Roux where I already fell in love with her as a character.  So if you are an adult, look for Bound by Danger to follow this book up.  I love the thought of psychic powers and wish I had some of my own.  Deidre is still strong and amazing that she wants to help anyone and everyone she has a vision about.

I really hope Terry writes more books about Deidre whether it is the young adult version or the adult version because I loved every minute of both books.

I highly recommend this book to YA lovers who want to believe in psychic powers being real :)

See my review of Bound by Danger!!! - Same character as an adult - THIS IS AN ADULT book!!!
